Enhanced Aluminium coatings with 96-97% reflectivity

The IBAD (Ion Beam Assisted Deposition) technology is one of the best coating technology available today.
The coating is very durable, lifetime is much longer than normal AlSiO2, and its reflectivity is 96-97% over the wide range of the visual spectrum. (see photo)
It has also the advantage that the mirror is not heated and will not dissolve any internal stresses to the vapor deposition. The coating happens to room temperature - the surface is far less porous than when the mirror must be cooled from 250 degrees.
The reflectivity is very good (comparable to HiLux from Orion UK - see the reflections at the two test photo ) and more importantly , very neutral color . You need to compare with the best available on the market silverings not shy !
