Pros
Viscoelastic damper system offers much needed attenuation of vibrations which are a big nuisance for large telescope tubes. This thing works. It's not perfection, but it cuts down image wobbling time by over 50 %, as well as the amplitude of vibration.
Cons
None of importance.
