This upgrade kit fits to the popular Sky-Watcher models (standard old and newer Evostar ED-APOs and Newtons and Dobsonian scopes over 15cm) equipped with standard (single speed) Crayford focusers.

Why to choose this 1:10 upgrade? This upgrade is adjustable using 4 screws and can be set to the ideal position.

Why is it important? On simpler Crayford focusers there are only two screws. One functions as a brake and the another one can be used to adjust the smoothness of the focuser. Incorrect use of these might damage the simpler Crayford focusers.

How to adjust the microfocus unit? Loosen both of the adjusting crews and while moving the Crayford focuser in and out fasten them again. This operation automatically positions the focuser. Click on the \"More information\" link next to the prices listed for more instructions.

Can a focus motor be mounted onto a Crayford focuser with upgrade? Yes, thanks to the slim design of the upgrade unit.

How much load can the focuser handle? A focuser adjusted properly should handle a load of 3 kg.

Pros

Már nagyon hiányzott a finomfókuszálási lehetőség, ezzel megoldottam végre. Precíz kivitelezés és könnyű beszerelhetőség jellemzi. A hozzáadott leírás is megfelelő.

Cons

Egy picit drága.

Elégedett vagyok vele, szerintem pontos fókuszáláshoz elengedhetetlen.

Pros

Gyönyörű nagyon esztétikus felépítés, nagyon finom precíz mozgás jellemzi. A gumis bevonatnak köszönhetően a téli hidegekben sem fagy oda az ujjunk, ha kesztyű nélkül használjuk. A desing teljessége érdekében ajánlott a szemközti oldalra való áttétel nélküli gomb beszerzése is.

Jelenleg nem tudok ilyet mondani.

Summary

Saját építésű kihuzathoz választottam fókuszáló gombnak. Nagyon elégedett vagyok vele. Korábban próbáltam ebben a tárgykörben etalonnak számító Feather Touch® mikrofókuszálót is, nem marad mellette szégyenben - nagyon nem! Megkockáztatom hogy legalább ugyanolyan jó.

Könnyű felszerelés, nagyon pontos élesség állítás

Csak egy gombot kapunk, a másik marad a régi, ezért kicsit felemás képet fest a technika... Az imbuszkulcs készlet egy szükséges rossz, nekem nem volt, és még azt is be kellett szerelni, nincs benne tengely,és teflon párna, amit az eredetiből kell kiszerelni. Vele nagyon könnyen ellustulok, már egy fogasléces kihuzatot sokkalta nehezebben állítok élesre, mint a jól bevált otthoni kényelemmel.

Summary

Nagyon megszerettem. Az biztos, ha egyszer a tubusom lecserélem, ezt viszem magammal az újra. A felhelyezést egyszer el kell játszani, nekem már egy éve van fent, és minden rendben van vele. A legnagyobb bajom, mikor olyan tubushoz kerülök, amin nincs 1:10 osztó. Nagyon hozzá lehet szokni a jóhoz. Én analóg gépvázat raktam rá, majd egy kilósat, és nem mászott el a tömegétől. Végig maradt a fókusz,a helyén. :-)

Nagyon finom kézi élességállítást tesz lehetővé, a távcső berázása nélkül. Jó ár-értékarányú fókuszírozó. SW Crayford kihuzatra méreteltérés nélkül passzol.

Cons

Kevés otthoni időráfordítást igényel a felszerelése, de a kapott útmutatóval ez megoldható.

Summary

SW 100/200 Newtonhoz használom vizuális észleléshez. A távcsövemet még nem volt lehetőség mikrofókuszírozóval rendelni, ma már ezzel rendelném, mert úgy olcsóbb, mint az utólagos upgrade. Fényképezőgéppel nem próbáltam még.
