EQ3/EQ5 hand controllers with ST4 input

There's no autoguider port on the EQ3/EQ5 hand controllers the correction speed is higher than it would be needed for fine tracking during long exposures. The Lacerta hand controller upgrade can solve these problems.

More about the product

The standard hand controllers of the EQ3 and EQ5 mounts with dual-ax drives (non-GoTo versions) do not contain autoguider port, however with some caution these mounts could be used for entry level deep sky astrophotography as well. The Lacerta EQHC hand controller solves these problems: the programmed corrections speeds are 0.5x-2x-16x sideral speeds, powered from 6V (any voltage between 6V and 12V can be used) and an autoguider can be connected to the installed port.

Usage of a rechargeable power tank of adaptor is recommended instead of the standard battery pack.

Pros

Sokkal jobban szeretem mint a gyári kézivezérlőt. És az átprogramozott sebességekkel is könnyebb ez élet. Fotózáshoz is sokkal jobb lesz tőle az EQ5 (azzal használom).

Cons

Kompromisszumokkal alkalmas(abb) lesz a mechanika az asztrofotózásra, ez persze nem a kézivezérlő hibája.

Summary

Ha nincs pénz vagy nincs szükség GoTo-ra, de szeretnénk upgradelni a mechanikát, és kihozni belőle a Goto-nélküli maximumot, és még fotózni is szeretnénk jobban ideális megoldás ez a kézivezérlő.
