More about the product
These closed gel cell batteries do not leak and provide high capacity. They\'re ideal to power the mounts as they\'re more compact than the Power Tanks, although they don\'t provide any additional functionality.
Batteries are available in 6V and 12V voltages. 6V model is ideal for powering EQ1, 2, 3 and 5 mounts with single clock drives or dual axis drives. EQ3-5 GoTo, HEQ5 and EQ6 mounts require 12V models.
The available charger works with both models. The output power is selectable. The charger can be purchased separately.
To connect the batteries a connector cable (SKU: Akkukab or AkkukabD) is needed, which is compatible with all of the Sky-Watcher mounts and many other products. The charget can be purchased separately.

Avoid the annoyance and extra spending with D-cells. Get one of these lead batteries and a charger, instead.
