How could the people determine the time during night couple of centuries ago? This model is based on the instrument constructed 500 years ago and is able to show the time using the Big Dipper and the Polaris.

 The stars can be found during night using the fingers. In the medieval ages sundial was used to determine time during daytime and observing the stars was necessary to detemine the time during night. This astrolabe is perfect for night hiking and as an educational tool. Diameter is 20 cm.
