100/900 Sky-Watcher ED pro refractor

The Sky-Watcher 100/900 ED refractor is an excellent telescope providing sharp images with high contrast and without any color aberration.

The 100mm ED objective lens shows many details on the surfaces of planets. Magnification range is between 18x and 300x, meaning that martian continents, Cassini-division in Saturn's ring system or Jupiter's athmosphere can be observed easily. Brighter deepsky objects show up easily in the scope with extremely sharp stars, open and globular clusters and nebulae.

Comes with a 2" Crayford focuser.

The telescope can be recommended for astrophotography as well. The 900mm focal length provides large image of smaller objects as well.

Up to sensors sized APS-C or below no corrector is needed. A Sky-Watcher 0.85x reducer/corrector is recommended however which reduces the focal length to 720mm and increases the focal ratio to F/7.2.

Comes with tube rings, dovetail plate and a 2"-1.25" adaptor with T2 thread.

The telescope can be purchased in different sets. At least EQ-3 or more robust mount is recommended.
