SkyWatcher Explorer 130P SynScan AZ-Go2

This SkyWatcher Explorer 130/650 telescope has a mirror large enough to observe deepsky objects but its quality makes it possible to observe fine details on the moon and planets at higher magnifications. The 2" focuser is included with a 10mm and 25mm Barium eyepiece (26x and 65x magnification) but the magnification range can be extended up to 260x. The 34.5mm secondary mirror causes a central obstruction of 26% only. An achromatic 6x30 spring load finderscope is also included.

The AZ-Go2 mount has integrated WiFi (creates it's own WiFi network, independent of other WiFi or mobile networks) so can be controlled wirelessly using your Smartphone or Tablet, via the free SynScan App for iOS or Android. After entering your coordinates into the App and following a simple alignment procedure, you are ready to explore the universe using the App’s intuitive touchscreen menu. The App provides full computerised GO-TO control, enabling the telescope to be automatically slewed to any one of the objects in the App’s extensive database of 10,000+ celestial objects.
