More about the product

The SkyWatcher Skymax 102MC is a compact Maksutov system which means that despite of the long focus the tube is short. Basically it's made for astronomical use however it suits the daytime needs also.

The 102mm objective gives a very detailed image, resolution is 1,2", recommended magnification range is between 32x and 200x. With this wide range and resolution this instrument is very capable for Moon, planet or Deep Sky objects hunting.

The focuser has 31,7mm tube for easy mount of the included 10 mm and 25 mm eyepieces. These two eyepieces provide 52x and 130x magnifications; the whole magnification range can be used with optional eyepieces. The focuser also has a T2 thread for using with a DSLR (special bayonet adapter is needed).
