Flip mirror for 1,25" focuser (Omegon Syncfoc)
More about the product
The flip mirror is used for compact objects: How to easily find and center any planet A real challenge in planetary photography: finding the planet and centering it in the middle of the camera chip. This is where the Omegon Syncfoc folding mirror comes into play. Because it allows you to center the moon, planets and deep sky objects reliably, quickly and much more easily.
The advantages at a glance: Compact folding mirror with 17mm mirror especially for planetary photography Perfectly centered: Objects in the eyepiece and on your camera chip at the same time Parfocal: Focus the object on the camera and the eyepiece 1.25" and T2 connection on the camera side At just 170g, the folding mirror is lightweight. Also suitable for small telescopes. An astronomical camera does not have a viewfinder. Finding it can make some observers sweat despite the cool temperatures. Carefully remove the eyepiece and connect the camera without shaking. Where is the focus? Now focus very carefully and hope that the planet is still in the center. The Synchro folding mirror takes this hurdle away for you, because it simply disappears. One fold and everything in view Don't change eyepiece and camera anymore, mount both at the same time. You can quickly switch back and forth between camera and eyepiece using the rotary knob on the side. This way you have the object under control at all times and astrophotography becomes easier.
Eyepiece and camera are sharp at the same time The focus positions of the eyepiece and camera are different. But with a metal focus ring for the eyepiece, you can achieve the right sharpness on both sides. In future, you will never again have to ask yourself whether the planet or the DeeSky object is in the field of view. You now always have full control. Full illumination for planetary cameras The built-in mirror illuminates camera chips with a chip diagonal of up to 23mm. This is completely sufficient for most planetary cameras. The right connection for your camera Whether 1.25" or T-2 thread: The folding mirror has both connections on the camera side. Simply unscrew the 1.25" adapter and the T-2 thread is free. A lock screw ensures that your camera is firmly in place.
The 1.25" to T-2 female adapter can also be connected to other accessories. So light that your telescope hardly notices it At 170 grams, the Omegon Syncfoc is lightweight. Saving weight is always an advantage in astrophotography, because many people want to enjoy their hobby with small telescopes or travel mounts on astro vacations. So this folding mirror is only as heavy as absolutely necessary. Please note: Folding mirrors are not suitable for Newton telescopes, as the focal point is no longer reached. Using them on refractors or catadioptric systems (SC, ACF, Maksutov), however, is no problem. technical data: Connection (camera side) T2 Connection (telescope side) 1.25" Optical length 84mm Connection (other end) 1.25" External dimensions LxWxH 110x70x88mm Material metal
