In contrast to the general deepsky filters theses filters do not block all light except for the H-alpha wavelength, meaning that the image will contain other colors as well. The emission nebulae and supernova remnants show up more nicely and contrasty on the images.
Available in 1.25" and 2" sizes - the latter ones are recommended for use in correctors and flatteners.
The Astronomik EOS clip filters are designed for the small sensor EOS DSLR cameras and can be mounted in a second. This means that the same filter can be used not only with the telescope but standard objective lenses as well, except for Canon EF-S lenses which are too long.
