The photo mounts allow you to connect a camera (or a device with a standard photo menu) to the mechanics.
The holes in the rail allow you to attach your device to your mechanics in a wide variety of ways.
This photo mount is Vixen prismatic rail standard, so it attaches nicely to conventional prismatic rail mechanics. The length of the rail is 100 mm.
