Star analyser (100 ln/mm)

Professional Astronomers routinely use the power of spectroscopy to reveal the secrets of the universe. Now the Star analyser can do the same for the amateur imager at an affordable price with this simple telescope attachment.

Specialist astronomers regularly use spectroscopes to probe the mysteries of the sky. By attaching an astrospectroscope to a telescope, amateur astronomers can do the same easily and at a reasonable price.

The spectroscope is mounted in the ring of a standard filter, so it can be screwed into the eyepiece or camera like a conventional 31.7 mm filter.

For example, with an 80 mm telescope and a simple webcam, hundreds of stars can be reached up to a limit of roughly +4 magnitude. With a 200 mm telescope, using a sensitive CCD, you can detect even novae or brighter supernovae, but also a good number of quasars, so that even redshifts indicating the expansion of the Universe can be easily detected.

Specification:

* high transmission spectroscope mounted in a 31.7 mm filter housing

* coated with an anti-reflective layer

* 100 lines/mm resolution

* easy to use - screws into camera housing with filter thread

* spectral direction indicated on the ring.

* small CCD sensor optimized for size

* star and spectrum are captured in one image for easy identification

* a spacer can be used if required

* can be screwed into eyepiece and used visually

More about the product

Used like a conventional 1.25 inch filter, it is the ideal accessory for today's low cost astronomical imaging cameras, webcams and video cameras. * For example, with a telescope of just 80mm aperture and a simple unmodified webcam, the hidden characteristics of hundreds of stars down to magnitude +4 can be revealed. With a 200mm aperture and a sensitive long exposure CCD imager, the identification of bright Novae and Supernovae or even a measurement of the expansion of the universe from the redshift of a Quasar are possible.

* High quality transmission diffraction grating mounted in a standard 1.25 inch filter cell * Anti- reflection coated glass protects the grating surface * High efficiency 100 lines/mm blazed design * Simple to use - Screws into a camera eyepiece adapter like a normal filter * Spectrum direction marked on the filter cell. A locking ring maintains the orientation * Optimised for the small CCD sensors found in popular webcams, video and astro cameras. * Star and spectrum can be recorded in the same image, which aids identification and calibration * Grating distance can be adjusted if desired using spacer rings (purchased separately) * Can also be fitted to an eyepiece for visual useFEATURES:

Pros

Egyszerű használat. DSLR objektívre rögzíthető foglalattal könnyen készíthetünk spektrumokat a csillagokról. CCD-re közvetlen csatlakoztatható. Én letöltöttem az ajánlott honlapról az egy hónapig használható demo szoftvert. Azzal kiválóan ki lehet értékelni a felvett spektrumokat.

Cons

Summary

Aki kíváncsi a fénybe kódolt “üzenetre” , (csillagok összetevői, radiális sebességük, helyük a HRD-n) ezzel az egyszerű eszközzel közelebb kerülhet hozzá.
