This telescope is suggested for users who demand a telescope on a very stable mount to watch the Moon and planets mainly. The objective lens is a 90mm Fraunhofer air spaced achromatic lens with 900mm focal length with a theoretical resolution of 1.3". The Cassini-division in Saturn's ring system or the Great Red Spot on Jupiter can be seen, including martian polar caps and continents. All of the Messier object are reachable (dark skies required) and many globular clusters and galaxies can also be observed. The telescope comes with 2 Barium eyepieces (10 and 25mm) providing 36x and 90x magnification, an achromatic Barlow-lens. The Barlow lens feature a T2 thread and thus can be used for photography. The focuser also has a T2 mount.

The EQ-3 mount is robust and can be later upgraded with many other accessories (dual axis drives, GoTo and polarscope). Baader solar filter is available.

Kiváló képalkotás, könnyű bővíthetőség, remek ár/érték arány, továbbfejlődési lehetőség.

Summary

Egy kiváló kezdő- és haladó távcső, mely sok mindent megmutat az égbolt csodáiból városi környezetben is. Évekig EQ2-es mechanikán használtam, de mióta EQ3-ra tettem, bátram merem ajánlani, akár tapasztaltabb amatőröknek is. Bolygózni, kettősözni is kiváló, de általános műszerként is merem ajánlani. Leképezés kiváló és ezen a mechanikán nagyon stabil, jó az észlelési komfortja. A mechanika rendkívül könnyen bővíthető óragéppel, GOTO-val, pólustávcsővel és akár egy 150-es Newtont is megtart, így jó alapot nyújt további távcsövek alá is. Egy nagy látószögű binokulárral kiegészítve, sok évig kiváló társ lehet az ég alatt.
