40mm SkyWatcher Super Plossl eyepiece

Plossl eyepieces are amongst the most popular eyepieces, as they provide a wide range of magnification at a very affordable price. The eye lens is larger than the ones in orthoscopic eyepieces making them easier to use. The image contrast is somewhat lower than in orthos but the field of view is much larger. The 20-25mm Plossl eyepieces can be used with most of the compact digital cameras with a photo adaptor.

The Synta Plossl eyepieces are well corrected and are similar to GSO series. All lenses are fully multi coated. The eyepiece barrel is 34mm in diameter (from 6.3mm to 12.5mm) and 36mm (from 17mm and up)
