The 150/750 Newtonian telescope has large, 15cm diameter main mirror, which allows to observe a wide range of objects including faint deepsky objects. Its F/5 main mirror makes the telescope a very versatile one. Te two aspheric eyepieces in the package gives 32x and 75x magnification with wide 62 degree field. Magnification range can be push up to to 250x with optional eyepieces. It means that both deep sky objects and small details on the lunar surface can be observed with this scope.

The very same SynScan Version 4 hand controller is used on the Star Discovery mount. The SynScan Version 4 handset can drive the Sky Discovery mount to any object selected from its huge 42000+ object database, including objects from Messier, IC, NGC and Caldwell catalogs, the planets, named stars, double stars, variable stars and even user-defined objects like new comets.
The Star Discovery mount includes digital encoders and the patented “Freedom Find TM” technology like the big Sky-Watcher EQ8 mount. After moving to a new object the
telescope will automatically begin to track the new object accurately. No re-setup is required in one observing session.
All StarDiscovery mount has a buil-in Wi-Fi unit, but there is an option to use with handcontroller (HC) With the WiFi connection you can control your telescope via smartphone or tablet. Just download the free App
(Android or iOS) - it is ready to use. For some people the handcontroller version is easier to use, mainly during cold weather.
For old StarDiscovery mounts the Skywatcher Wi-Fi unit (SynScanWifi), can be purchased later separately also, then just plug the
Wi-Fi unit into the hand controller slot and it is ready to use.
