The 150/750 Newtonian telescope has large, 15cm diameter main mirror, which allows to observe a wide range of objects including faint deepsky objects. Its F/5 main mirror makes the telescope a very versatile one. Te two aspheric eyepieces in the package gives 32x and 75x magnification with wide 62 degree field. Magnification range can be push up to to 250x with optional eyepieces. It means that both deep sky objects and small details on the lunar surface can be observed with this scope.
The Star Discovery mount is a highly portable Alt-Az GoTo mount includes a SynScan Wi-Fi module,
so it can be controlled wirelessly with your smartphone or tablet using
the free SynScan App for iOS or Android. It can also be used with the GOTO hand controller.
Both the SynScan hand controller or the SynScan App provides full computerised GO-TO control to the mount, allowing your telescope to be automatically slewed to any of the objects in the App’s extensive database of 10,000+ celestial objects, including objects from Messier, IC, NGC and Caldwell catalogs, the planets, named stars, double stars, variable stars and even user-defined objects like new comets.
The Wi-Fi module creates its
own Wi-Fi network, so the mount can be used anywhere, without relying on
other WiFi networks. After entering your coordinates into the App and
following a simple alignment procedure, you can explore the universe
using the App’s intuitive touchscreen menu.
It has a 12V power socket
(220V power adapter is sold separately) and a separate compartment for 8 AA batteries (sold separately) which is integrated with the body of
GOTO computerize mount. This mount can be place on an adjustable stainless
steel tripod which is made up of aluminum with accessory tray provides a firm
support to the mount and telescope.
