This SkyWatcher Explorer 130/650 telescope has a mirror large enough to observe deepsky objects but its quality makes it possible to observe fine details on the moon and planets at higher magnifications. The 2" focuser is included with a 10mm and 25mm Barium eyepiece (26x and 65x magnification) but the magnification range can be extended up to 260x. The 34.5mm secondary mirror causes a central obstruction of 26% only. An achromatic 6x30 spring load finderscope is also included.

The AZ-Go2 mount has integrated WiFi (creates it's own WiFi network, independent of other WiFi or mobile networks) so can be controlled wirelessly using your Smartphone or Tablet, via the free SynScan App for iOS or Android. After entering your coordinates into the App and following a simple alignment procedure, you are ready to explore the universe using the App’s intuitive touchscreen menu. The App provides full computerised GO-TO control, enabling the telescope to be automatically slewed to any one of the objects in the App’s extensive database of 10,000+ celestial objects.

Pros

Körübelül két hete vásároltam meg innen. Amikor megérkezett azonnal feltűnt, hogy ez már komoly dolog lesz. Jelenleg még csak a mellé adott okulárokról indulhatok ki, de a látvány mesés. A korábbi távcsövemhez képest ez mérföldekkel túlszárnyalja a dolgot. Kiváló képe van nagyon tiszta és a mély ég objektumok csodálatosak benne. GoTo mechanikája miatt közép kezdőként is gyorsan megtalálok mindent. A kereső használata könnyű pár pillanat alatt beállítható.

Cons

Egy kicsit borsos az ára, de az akció végül megyőzött és ezért térdre borulok.:) Az első napok után viszon egyértelmű, hogy megéri az árát. Más nem jut eszembe szerintem nincs is több ilyen.

Summary

Összegezve egy kiváló távcső és bár még nem sokat tudtam használni, de olyan látványban volt részem benne amiről soha nem gondoltam volna. Azt viszont nagyon bánom, hogy elfelejtettem az okulár akciót hozzá 9900ft-ért mindenképpen venni kelett volna hozzá mert nagyon megérte volna. A GoTo rendszerrel való keresés az elején nehézkes lehet, de könnyű megszokni és utána gyerek játék.
