In the case of manual Dobsonian Sky-Watcher Newton-telescopes, by purchasing the Upgrade Kit, we have the opportunity to upgrade our telescope, which will not only be suitable for tracking, but will also have all the convenience of automatic object search (GoTo movement).

The GoTo Dobson mechanism operates from 12V, for which a cigarette lighter connection cable is supplied by the manufacturer, but it can also be operated from many other (optional) energy sources, e.g. 12V gel battery, PowerTank, 12V mains adapter, etc.
