The Barium eyepieces can be used in 1.25\" focusers. They\'re reversed Kellner eyepieces where one of the lenses contain Barium. As a result the image quality is definitely better than the one of Kellner eyepieces and the eyepiece provides a wider field. Recommended for slow telescopes (F/8 and under) but perform well even in faster scopes. Ideal for outreach events. The eyepieces contain standard filter thread and the eye rubber protects from stray light. Recommended for medium magnifications.

Review from a customer (Imre Lorincz): these eyepieces provide excellent light transmission (I guess because of the 3 elements). For example the 20mm Barium has a light transmission similar to a 21mm Pentax XL, whose light transmission is 95%...

Another review (Istvan Csuti): the image brightness was evident at first sight. I couldn\'t detect any reflection even with the brighter objects.

elég jó képalkotás kis fényveszteség

rendkivüli mértékben tapasztalható a lencsék párásodása

Summary

távcsövekhez kaptam illetve vásároltam is 10 20 25 mm -es tipusokkal rendelkeztem , évekig használtam őket más jobb plössl okulárok mellett, a képalkotással nem volt baj elég élesnek és tisztának mondható volt a látott kép. A többi okulárokhoz képest állandóan a párásodott lencsékkel kellet küzdeni a plössl és gold line okulárok pedig teljesen szárazak voltak. Szerintem a muanyag lencsefoglalat miatt volt a nagy párásodás. Bemutatózásra jó okulárok,de a most megjelent egyszerű bevonatos sw plössl okulárokkal már árban és minőségben sem tudják a versenyt felvenni.
