More about the product
The Scmidt-Cassegrain telescopes have been very popular especially in North America, even though they deliver slightly less contrasty images compared to Maksutov telescopes with smaller central obstruction. The Celestron SC telescopes contain high quality optics which result in sharp and contrasty images of the planets (assuming the weather conditions are perfect and the telescope has reached the ambient temperature). Focusing is done by moving the primary mirror, meaning that it is possible to reach focus with almost all accessories.
The telescopes are available in wide range of apertures, from 12,5 cm (5\") up to 35,5 cm (14\"). The telescopes can be mounted using their standard dovetail plates.
