0.5x reducer (to be used with 1.25" eyepieces)

The focal reducer can be thread directly onto the eyepiece or the nosepiece of a webcam. The amount of reduction can be slightly changed by increasing or decreasing the distance between the eyepiece and the reducer. Unfortunately the reducers often do not increase the field of view, meaning that although the magnification gets smaller, but severe vignetting can be observed, depending on the instrument.
