Zess PrimoStar1 microscope with 3 objectives and TRINO phototube

The PrimoStar microscope optics are different from other microscopes. Instead of using the standard 160mm tube length the objective lenses are optimized to infinity, makeing it possible to use any accessory in the light path.

The objective revolver contains four Plan achromatic objective lenses made by Zeiss. Phase contrast microscopy is possible with the 40x eyepiece.

The illumination used can be full Kohler or fixed Kohler. The fixed Kohler is lower priced and has the advantage that it does not need adjustment for different specimens and different users. For higher requirements the full Kohler version is recommended and it is a must for phase contrast microscopy.

Objective lenses used: 4x (6.5mm, 0.1mm); 10x (4.39mm, 0.25mm); 40x (0.48mm (ph2 can be purchased) 0.65mm); 100x (0.13mm oil, 1.25)

The microscope head can be binocular or trinocular version too.
