OPTOLONG Clear Sky Light Pollution Filter, 77mm Thread

This filter blocks the light from sodium vapor (Na) and mercury vapor (Hg) lamps and improves contrast in astrophotography.

Its unique feature is that it is mounted in front of the lens, which avoids several problems.

Especially with full-frame cameras, dark corners of the image often occur because the clip-on filter is often too small.

Some clip-on filters also struggle with particularly fast lenses.

In addition, lens filters fit a wide range of systems. Clip-on filters are primarily available for Canon and Nikon, and with these filters, owners of other camera systems now also have the option of using high-quality filters to combat light pollution.
