Observing the Sun requires some precautions. DO NOT LOOK AT THE SUN with any telescope without proper filtration - doing so will result in immediate damage to the eye.

These filters are practically Baader's solar filter pieces mounted in plastic mounts compatible with Sky-Watcher telescopes. The biggest advantage is that these filters fit properly to the telescope (does not fall off accidentally and blocks all stray light). The following sizes are available.

Pros

Bár könnyen szakadó, papírvékony alufóliának tűnik. A szűrő nagyon erős anyagból készült.

Cons

Nagy blende: 25 centis távcsőből 18 centi marad kihasználható. Egy-két milliméterrel lehetne nagyobb a szűrő átmérője ugyanis aggasztóan könnyen rápattintható a tubus elejére.
