Eyepieces, objective lenses and mirrors are expensive pieces of the telescopes. It is very easy to scratch them.

The following steps should be followed: 1. removing all dust, 2. applying the cleaning fluid, 3. cleaning with special tissue.

To clean optical surfaces Baader's cleaning fluid is recommended. The tissue is soft and does not leave any marks back and does not scratch the surface. Spray a little amount to the tissue (or the surface) and wipe the surface lightly. Repeat the procedure if needed.

Be careful when turning the tissue to the other side - do not move material from the fingers back to the optical surfaces. The tissue is washable in washing mashines at 30 degrees.

For smaller surfaces (like eyepieces) and dust removal the Celestron LensPen is recommended.
