25mm Lacerta Premium Flat Field eyepiece

The Lacerta Premium Flat Field eyepieces offer a wide field of view and a well-corrected image at an affordable price. The members of the series are available in focal lengths of 25 mm, 19 mm, 15.5 mm, 10.5 mm, 7.5 mm, 5.5 mm and 3.5 mm.

The field of view is 65 degrees for the longer focal lengths, and 60 degrees for the shorter ones. The wide field of view is well corrected even in faster telescopes like F/5-F/6. However minimal edge distortion is noticeable at the very edge of the field of view in faster telescopes and in the case of longer focuses, but it is not strong. Edge correction definitely represents an outstanding level in terms of price.

 The eyepieces consist of 4, 5 or 6 lens elements, which are arranged in 3 or 4 groups. All optical surfaces have a high-quality FMC anti-reflection layer, so light transmission, image sharpness and contrast are at a very high level. It is well suitable not only for deep sky observation, but also for observing planets, Moon and double stars.
