The Sky-Watcher HEQ Pro GoTo mount is a precision German Equatorial Mount, ideal for both visual observing and astrophotography. Equipped with stepper motors that can provide 800x sideral speed (3.4 degrees/sec) using the hand controller or a planetarium program running on the attached PC. The 1/64 microstepping provides smooth tracking, precise manufacturing and bearings results small backlash on both axes makes ideal for autoguiding. An autoguider port is also included (standard ST4). The guide correction speed can be adjusted between 0.125x and 1x.

GoTo controller:

This version features the latest SynScan GoTo hand controller. Its database contains more than 42900 object, including the complete Messier, NGC and IC catalgues, plus double and variable stars. The mount also provides a "guided tour" functionality to show all objects currently visible. The hand controller also helps to perform proper polar alignment. Voltage of the power source and the temperature can be also checked. For astrophotography the PEC helps in accurate tracking.

The hand controller firmware can be upgraded from the internet.

Requires 12V DC, that can be provided from a cigarette lighter or from a rechargeable battery.

For the GoTo version we highly recommend the Skywatcher Wi-Fi unit (SynScanWifi), with which you can control your telescope via smartphone or tablet. Just plug the Wi-Fi unit into the hand controller slot and download the free App (Android or iOS) - it is ready to use.

E o montura solida buna pentru incepatori.Poate fi upgradata la sistem cu curele.

Cons

Montura mea a venit din fabrica cu o indoitura de vreo 4cm pe axa DEC .Imediat am trimis poza cu defectul la magazin intrebandu-i daca imi pot inlocui capul monturii deoarece a venit cu defect de fabricatie dar n-am primit niciun raspuns desi chiar ei mi-au spus ca in cazul in care montura soseste cu lovituri s-au defecte o vor inlocui.Se pare ca era doar reclama.Dezamagit de atitudinea unora din angajati.

Summary

Montura solida.Sper sa nu am probleme cu ea din cauza acelei deformari pe axa DEC.Dezamagit de "costumer support" care daca ai o problema cu produsul nu-ti mai raspund.Pacat ca refelcta o imagine negativa asupra magazinului.

Pros

Nagyon pontosan működik az óragép. Semmiféle rezonanciát, akadást vagy beremegést nem lehet érzékelni. A GoTo funkció könnyen kezelhető és az észleléstől, fotózástól nem vesz el felesleges időt a keresgélés, pozicionálás. A beépített pólustávcső megvilágítás (változtatható fényerővel) nekem egy külön megkönnyebbülés volt, mert előtte sokat kínlódtam azzal, hogy a szálkeresztet nem láttam rendesen, vagy attól függően, hogy hogyan sikerült belevilágítani változott a helyzete. Könnyen és gyorsan szerelhető, kitelepüléshez is jól mozgatható.

Cons

Az árát tekintve elmondhatjuk, hogy jelentős összegről van szó. A tápellátáshoz én minimum 19Ah vagy nagyobb akkumulátor használatát javaslom, hogy hűvös időben (+5C alatt) is egy teljes éjszakát kibírjon.

Summary

EQ3 állványról váltottam HEQ5 Pro-ra. A különbség fényévekben mérhető! Legalábbis az elkészült fényképeken látható részletek és a háttérben megjelenő galaxisokat tekintve.
