SynScan (version 5.x) hand controller

By replacing the original hand controller provided for HEQ5 and EQ6 SynTrek mounts with this one the mount can be upgraded to a fully functional GoTo mount. It is also possible to upgrade the altazimuth autotrack mount with the SynScan AZ hand controller.

GoTo functions

The latest SynScan GoTo hand controller works without a PC attached, thanks to its built in database. The hand controller contains more than 42900 objects, including all Messier, NGC and IC objects plus double and variable stars. The hand controller provides the "guided tour" functionality which can show the most interesting objects currently visible. The hand controller can also check the power voltage and temperature.
