Delta Optical Titanium 4,5-30x50 IR (MCZ-II)

This model with a special reticle was one of the most interesting innovations of 2009 in Poland. The 4.5-30x50 riflescope provides highly variable magnification (6,7x) and is ideal for long distance shooting (4-600 meters). Dimensions are similar to the ones of other Titanium riflescopes, parallax adjustable with 1/8 MOA with 50-50 clicks on all directions.

Hopefully this model fulfills the needs for professional hunters as well. The distance can be measured using the newly designed reticle and helps to shoot precisely during strong winds. The reticle contains an illuminated spot and four thin (two horizontal and two vertical) lines with different lengths and marks. The shortest one corresponds to 25 mm at 100 meters while longer ones represent 50 mm. The distance between the marks represent 50 mm at 100 meters while the distance between the two longer ones is 100 meters. The vertical line covers 300 mm at 100 meters while the line at the bottom represents 500 mm. The full vertical line (inclunding the central spot) is 900 mm at 100 meters.

Both of the horizontal lines represent 500 mm at 100 meters. To measure distance of an object use 20x magnification. The targe4t itself covers 3 mm at 100 meter, meaning that even a 10mm target can be hit at 300 meters, and the spot covers only 18 mm at even 600 meters. The spot can be illuminated with different brightnesses. Levels 8-9 can be used during daytime while 2-3 is sufficient for nighttime use.

According to the tests the reticle is useful even at lower magnifications. When mounted on a Steyr SSG 69 gun 10-12x magnification was enough when shooting at a target at 200 meters, while magnification 14-16x was the best at 300 meters. The maximum magnification of 20x is recommended for objects at 5-600 meters away.
