30mm projector and photo eyepiece (2")

These eyepieces are designed for observation and photography and have an integrated M57 thread and adjustable eye or camera distance.

Thanks to the high-quality multi-coating and the blackened lens edges, they offer an excellent image and hard contrast. The eye distance can be adjusted, so the rubber eyecup is always at the optimal distance, regardless of whether you are observing with or without glasses. The position is then fixed using the small knurled screw on the side.

If you unscrew the upper part with the eyecup, an M57 external thread appears, which can be used to screw a camera onto it. The M57T2 or M57M48 adapter and other camera-specific adapters are required for this.

For an DSLR or MILC camera, you need the respective T2 or M48 bayonet ring, and for cameras without interchangeable lenses or camcorders, you need an adapter from T2 (M48) to the respective filter thread. If the camera already has an M57 filter thread, no adapters are required, it can be screwed directly onto the eyepiece.

When doing afocal astrophotography special eyepieces might be needed.

The GSO 32mm and 40mm photo eyepieces are Plossl eyepieces but the eye rubber can be removed revealing a T2 thread. This T2 thread can accept many different adaptors. Using the proper one almost all of the cameras can be mounted and breathtaking images can be captured. Using a bayonett adaptor even DSLRs can be used.

The T2 thread distance can be adjusted, so the important camera lens - eyepiece distance can be finetuned, or using a DSLR the magnification can be adjusted slightly. Using the eye rubber the eyepieces can be used for visual purposes just like any other eyepiece.
