The Baader solar filter is available in two different type: ND5 is for visual observations and ND3.8 for photographic work. The filter consist of energy rejection coating on both sides which practically does not distort the image (according to specification the distortion is below 4%). According to our tests it is recommended to use an ND0.6 neutral density filter (or ND0.9 above 15cm) which helps to observe the granulation at 100-120x magnification. The filter does not change the Sun's natural color.

Pros

A Nap fotózásához lett kifejlesztve, szuperminőség. Házolag készítettem el 72 mm-es szűrő adapterre. Teljesen jól használható, napi szinten fotózom vele.

Cons

Nem tapasztaltam eddig hátrányt, de azért nagyon érzékeny "szerkezet", ellenőrizni kell, hogy nem érte-e sérülés.

Summary

Sajnálom, hogy nem rendeltem az ND5-ösből is, teljesen más dimenzióba helyezi az egyszerű fotózást.

Optikailag kifogástalan termék, nem szakad könnye.

Cons

f/15-ös fényerőhöz ez is sötét, nem lehet kombinálni színszűrőkkel, mert akkor már nagyon sötét a kép. Fotografikusan hosszú expoziciókat igényel 1 ms vagy több.

Summary

Fényerősebb távcsövekhez ajánlanám.

Pros

It's a neutral density filter and therefore gives a natural, true color of the Sun - white, and also permits imaging beyond light spectrum. With lower optical density it permits very fast lucky imaging.
