72/420 mm Skywatcher Evostar-72ED DS-PRO on AZ-Pronto mount

SkyWatcher's Evostar 72/420 ED telescope is an instrument with excellent imaging performance. It's a great choice for panoramic viewing and casual astronomy (e.g. moon, planets), as the included tripod is easy to use and allows you to quickly deploy the telescope. As with Apochromat, the imaging is pin-sharp with very high contrast and no chromatic aberration. The eyepiece is a 2" microfocus Crayford, which allows the most precise focusing thanks to the 1:10 ratio. 

The SkyWatcher AZ Pronto azimuth tripod is an excellent complement to the 72 ED binoculars. Its main advantage is that it is easy to use, comfortable and works very well. It is also quick to set up, easy to carry, lightweight and compact. It allows a stable support and a quality movement. The telescope can be mounted with a standard prismatic mount in one movement, but also a camera or a scope can be mounted via an optional photo mount (e.g. EQ3fft or EQshortFFT). Fine adjustment with the flexible arms allows precise movement, allowing you to pan the telescope over the object you have set up, whether the telescope is close to horizontal or vertical.

The set comes with a 45-degree Amici prism, ideal for daytime viewing in comfort. The two Plössl eyepieces provide beautiful contrast imaging, giving magnifications of 21x and 42x. In addition, of course, additional eyepieces can be added to the system, so that higher magnifications can be achieved, up to around 130-150x magnification, to get a nice image with this instrument. The included starpointer (red dot finder) allows easy aiming. The set can also be extended with a photo adapter.
