AZ-5S single arm alt-azimuth mount on steel tripod

The new AZ5 tripod is a mixture of AZ4's optimal geometry and the AZ3's precision. This azimuthal tripod is ideal for environmental, panoramic or even astronomical use. The attached telescope remains in balanced postion so it can be easily fixed in every position from Horizon up to Zenith. The arm can be fixed in more positions regarding to the observation's needs.

The precisional movements can be made with the flexible arms which allows small panning on the selected objects.

The scopes can be attached with regular dovetails, however with optional attachments the tripod can be used with spotting scopes or even with a DSLR on a ballhead.

The head is mounted on a lighweight and stable StarAdventurer tripod. With the included extension tube the tripod is usable in Zenith postion without a risk of collision. Both the AZ5 head and the extension tubes are fitted with 3/8" photo thread so the head can be used with 3rd party photo tripods also. The head is also available without tripod for this reason.
