Enhanced Dual Axis Handset for EQ5 with autoguider input with motors

These sets not only provide clock drive but also can move the declination axis. After centering an object in the eyepiece it is very convinient to use the hand controller only to track the object or move the telescope slightly, for example when observing the Moon at high magnification. The dual axis drive also helps to keep an object centered while capturing lunar or planetary images.

The hand controller provides 2x, 8x and 16x speeds. Use 2x for fine tuning during photography and higher speeds to find/center objects. Mounting the kit is extremely simple. Requires 6V DC (battary holder included).

Note that to achieve proper tracking the mount needs to be polar aligned. A polarscope might help a lot to do it.
