This 9x50 finderscope provides excellent image quality. It has an achromatic objective with fully multi coating, which results great sharpness and high light transmission. The reticles can be seen even in darkness. The 50mm model can show stars down to magnitude 10 (showing most of the stars drawn on an average chart).

The 90 degree Amici prisms mounted on this finderscope provides more comfortable use just like star diagonals. Contrary to the diagonals they give erect images so using charts is much more easier.

It comes with SkyWatcher's SpringLoad mount. Adjusting them to be parallel with the telescope is easy and quick, only two small screws need to be adjusted. It fits to the SkyWatcher's standard (and it is the standard of many other manufacturers) finderscope holders.

Pros

Nagyon jó minőségű és egyenes állású képet ad. Először egy Newton távcsövön használtam és annyira megkedveltem, hogy amikor a reflektort egy lencsésre cseréltem, megtartottam ezt a keresőt. Gondoltam, ha már úgyis zenittükrös a távcső, ne kelljen a keresőtávcsőbe kézen állva betekinteni. Az ötlet bevált, nagyon komfortosan használható. Az egyenes állású kép miatt, jobban használható a csillagtérkép alapján történő tájékozódásra. A képalkotására jellemző, hogy több mélyég-objektum közvetlenül látható a keresőben. A szálkereszt kellő méretű, én még nem tapasztaltam a megvilágítás hiányát, így is nagyon jól használható.

Cons

Az okulár betekintési irányának megváltoztatásakor (a kereső elfordításakor) a távcsővel való párhuzamosítása jelentősen megváltozik, feltétlenül után állítást igényel. Lehetne egy kicsit olcsóbb, mert ezen az áron már egy jól használható binokulárt is lehet vásárolni.

Summary

Nagyon jól használható és képalkotású kereső. Az egyenes állású kép miatt jelentősen megkönnyíti a tájékozódást. Tudom ajánlani tükrös és lencsés távcsövekhez egyaránt.
